ways to reduce the effects of stress in your life.

It is about what you can do to cope with the burdens of daily life that will make your life manageable, more comfortable and bring you the peace and relaxation you deserve.
You can learn skills to help you reduce daily pressures, relieve your mind of unnecessary burdens and refresh your spirit.
Life is that we may have Joy - but, often, it doesn't feel that way.
Life, itself, gets in the way - broken relationships, illness, financial difficulties, pressures of work and family.
There are days when the journey seems all

But it's also about learning techniques to help us up that steep hill, over
that rocky road, and to show us the way in out of the rain and storms of life.
That's what MindScape Stress Management programs are all about.
Today, in a vibrant period of alternative health and main stream health
exploration, dozens of techniques and programs are discovered and re-discovered
that enable all of us to access solutions to our stress management problems.
Many come with a high price tag. Many others are readily available for the cost
of learning. They are available to help people overcome one of society's worst
problems - the debilitating results of stress.
Does this mean that all the unhelpful stress in your life will go away? Of
course not. That's not what it's all about.
It's about making a decision to change how you react or cope with those
stressors.
It's about deciding you and your health are worth it.
It's about deciding that you don't have to roll over and give in to unbearable
pressure or confusion in your life anymore. Because you can be the person in
charge.
But (I can hear you saying) I CAN'T control what my boss or spouse are doing, I
AM overwhelmed with the bad news from my doctor or my daily responsibilities.
That's right, you can't control what others do or the bad news that comes to
each of us at some time. But with MindScape Stress Management classes,
you CAN LEARN to control how you handle it. You CAN LEARN to use and develop
routines that will put you in a better place while things are going well and
buffer you when stressful situations appear.
And, even in the midst of turmoil, with our MindScape Stress Management
program, you CAN LEARN to grab hold of relief and peace that will smooth out
some of the rough spots.
MindScape Stress Management programs are designed to introduce you to
many of these options. Some are very easy to include in your life and others
will require a deeper understanding and more practice to become adept at a
useful level.
If you are facing an uphill battle with stress right now in your life - or just
want to maintain the status quo - MindScape Stress Management classes
can be a perfect solution.
Class
size is limited to 6 to optimize your personal learning experience. The classes
are held in a comfortable surrounding to enhance your relaxation. With time to
talk, time to listen and time to relax. Lots of time for self care!
And, now, classes are priced far below our normal rates to make access to this
life expanding and health improving experience even more convenient and
affordable.
Six week programs consist of 1 1/2 hours per week at $20.00 per class ($119.00
prepaid).
You must sign up, be committed to and prepay in full. Because of the small size
of the class, once your space is booked there are no refunds.
Classes start in September. Each set is 6 weeks long, 1 class per week.
Tuesday mornings: 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.(noon)
Thursday afternoons: 1 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Level 1: Release & Relax
Learn multiple ways to relax your body and release stress, including
Progressive Relaxation, Visualisation, Thought Stopping, Self Hypnosis,
influence of our senses (aromatherapy and music), personal self care (hand
massage) and skin care (face massage, power of self talk, value of affirmations
and how to use them and simple Breath work, as well as, a quick introduction to
EFT and other programs.
Level 2: Increase Inner Power & Intuition
Level 2 builds on Level 1 with more focus on personal strength and inner power.
Learning to listen to your inner voice will help you to understand who you are,
why you are here, and what you have to offer. As you do, you will increase your
Self Esteem and Self Worth with increased personal power and self confidence.
Level 3: Focus on Health & Fitness
Now, with increased skills and a sense of personal power, you get to take the
skills and abilities you have learned and put them into practice. In these
classes you will focus on specific areas of your life - Stop Smoking, Weight
release, health issues - by learning to adapt and apply techniques you learned
earlier.
Following Level 1, participants may register for Level 2 or Level 3. It is
preferred that participants take all 3 Levels in order.
